Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) takes place every October.
The aim of the BCAM is to shine a light on the devastating impact breast cancer has on thousands of Australians each day. We all know someone or know of someone who has been affected by this cancer.
To provide our support we will be having a bakers delight pink bun day and will be using pink rigid tape for those who want it. (% of profits are donated by the companies selling the buns and tape through bcna.org.au).
Our Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapists and Lymphoedema trained Physiotherapists are here to support you through your journey.
Cancer rehabilitation and exercise can reduce the impact of the disease and the debilitating effects of treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation such as weakness, fatigue and movement.

We just wanted to advise our clients that the texts we send out to remind you of your upcoming appointments are generated by our software system and have a no reply facility.
Please do not reply to messages as they will not be delivered and will show as undelivered on your phone. Please call or email our team.
Another side effect of Covid-19 in our community has been the increase in sitting which can contribute to back stiffness and soreness.
This can go away easily but for some it can linger. If you find yourself with ongoing back pain and you would like to look into building your core and specifically designed back exercises to build strength and longevity, come and listen at our no obligation information night.
Information night:
Time: 6pm
Date: 14th October 2020

Behind the scenes for the last month we have been playing with, mastering and adapting our use of an exciting new piece of technology called the AxIT system.
It is an elite force and load management system previously only available to high level athletes.
BENEFITS:
Detailed measurement of your strength and performance deficits to guide strength and rehabilitation programs. Allowing practitioners to objectively measure and track whether the set programs are working for you and your goals quicker with real time feedback.
Suitable for post operative treatment, sports injury risk screening, general strength and fitness goals - all ages and ability levels.
Data is safely stored and recalled so your results are easy to access to compare where you were and how far you have come.
We have designed programs to suit sports such as golf….so test your strength and deficits and improve your game.
The system comes with a number of instruments to attach that will allow us to calculate a variety of measurements for body parts such as hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow, wrist and spine.
IF YOU ARE NOT MEASURING, YOU ARE ONLY GUESSING.
If you are interested in seeing how this new technology works, feel free to call our office on (02) 6925 7734 or email us below.
