SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Qualifications

B.Phty – Charles Sturt University

ASCA Level 1 Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach

Background

Joe grew up on a farm just outside of Wagga and attended Mater Dei Catholic College. Joe was heavily involved in junior sports such as AFL, rugby league and cricket and enjoyed the sporting options that the Riverina offered.

Joe spent 5 years playing with the GWS Giants and State League football in Victoria. Back home he now plays with the Coolamon Hoppers in the RFL.

Joe joined the Active team in January 2019 after completing his physiotherapy degree in Albury and has professional interests in musculoskeletal issues, sporting injuries and working with younger athletes to improve their performance. After a history of personal shoulder and ankle injuries with his sporting career Joe feels it allows him to empathise with a patient.

Joe’s aim as a physiotherapist is to not just to return people to their baseline level but help them become a healthier, happier and stronger version of themselves.

In his spare time Joe enjoys mountain bike riding, fishing and camping.

Recently Joe has opened up a practice in Coolamon and looks forward to helping the Coolamon and surrounding areas.
