Caleb Shephard

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Qualifications

BPhysio - Charles Sturt University

Background

Having been lucky with childhood sporting injuries, Caleb's first experience with physiotherapy was while studying the Bachelor of Pharmacy at Charles Sturt University. He was immediately attracted to the varied and personal nature of the profession, and went on to switch degrees the next year and has never looked back!

Caleb particularly enjoys; treating early childhood injuries and conditions; assessing and managing dancers' strength and control; and providing care and management for common wrist and hand injuries.

When he's not at work, his hobbies are wide ranging; currently he's into going to the gym, playing the bass guitar, drawing, board games, and learning how to code, though he's always keen to get into new hobbies. He enjoys time to himself, but is sure to make time for his wife Soph, his immediate family in Wagga, and his cat Juno!

WHY DO YOU LOVE BEING A PHYSIOTHERAPIST?

Being a Physiotherapist means seeing something new and interesting every day. I loves being able to spend time with so many different people with different issues and help them to achieve their health goals, which can range from being able to get around the house safely, to gaining entry to an elite sporting school.
