Curtis grew up on a mixed farm in Grenfell NSW where he was heavily involved in local rugby union, rugby league, cricket and golf. After completing Bachelor degrees in both Exercise and Sports Science and Physiotherapy through Charles Sturt University, Curtis joined the Active team in early 2020. Since joining the Active team, he has completed his Level 1 Sports Physiotherapy Course and is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma of Rural Generalist Practice.
Curtis has developed professional interests in musculoskeletal sports injuries and is particularly passionate about increasing access to quality physiotherapy service for those in rural areas.
Following a history of football injuries and surgery, Curtis appreciates the importance of patients continuing to participate in their chosen sport or hobbies whilst returning from injury. Curtis is driven to provide the best possible care to patients to ensure they reach their goals and strives to ensure people are physically functioning at their highest level.
Curtis is a keen fisherman who loves the outdoors, camping and riding his mountain bike. He continues to play rugby union, now with Wagga Wagga Waratahs Rugby Club and enjoys a game of social touch football and golf in the off season.
